We are on the hunt for Singapore's most inclusive places. 

This role is for a meticulous and detail-oriented individual who is capable of auditing places and services in Singapore based on their level of inclusiveness.

In this role you will:

  • Conduct an independent audit of merchants and service providers based on how well they serve the needs of Be Inclusive’s priority user segments* in Singapore, for the Be Inclusive mobile app.

*Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people, single mothers, people using wheelchairs or walking aids as well as Deaf and hard-of-hearing people

This is a paid position based in Singapore. 

A fee of $6 SGD per place audited will be offered for this assignment, with a minimum of 100 places to be audited.. An allowance for any on-the-job expenses will also be provided. Reimbursement for expenses will only be approved if receipts and other supporting documentation is submitted.

Flexible hours with minimum 15 to 20 hours per week, from May 2018 to June 2018.

This is what you will need for the job:

  • Singaporean citizenship or permanent residence.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and a proven track record in facilitating dialogue on disability-, LGBT- and/or diverse women-related issues.

  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Capable of collecting survey data using online tools such as Google Sheets.

  • First-hand experience on issues related to one or more of the following is essential: gender, sexuality, race or ethnicity, disabilities, social justice, or human rights.

  • Highly proficient communication skills in written and spoken English. Proficient in either one of the following languages: Bahasa Melayu, Tamil, or Simplified Chinese will be advantageous;

  • Familiarity with B-Change Group’s portfolio of work an advantage.

  • Familiarity with socio-political environment in Southeast Asia and other parts of the developing world is preferred.

  • Curiosity and passion for continual learning is a must.

  • Able to work independently, comfortable with working remotely  and in flexible working hours arrangement;

  • Able to maintain productivity as a member of an international team that works remotely.
