You will work in close collaboration with our founder, engineers, analysts and engagement teams to translate our vision into a reality. Insights we gain from users at the grassroots will inspire you to prototype and test ideas that delight our users.
Your approach to user experience is holistic. Your view extends from the databases and IT infrastructure that our app platform is built upon, to the marketing touch points that invite our users to engage with our brand.
You are design-focused, passionate about ‘mobile’ and conversant in both front- and back-end technologies. You have the ability to translate your ideas clearly for fellow designers and marketers as well as for programmers and engineers.
You are action-oriented, results-driven and ready to put your hands to work in small, agile team that is striving for a big and audacious goal.
What you will do:
Connect the dots between user insights, business goals and our social purpose to conceptualise, design and implement our evolving user experience.
Execute a lean, design-driven, user-centred development process to ensure that milestones are achieved on-time.
Prototype, test and improve concepts through to delivery to end-users.
Bridge our current user experience with emerging technologies and trends as we improve and grow.
Work in close collaboration with the founder to manage relationships with engineering vendors and other partners to ensure our mission and objectives are realised.

Flexible work arrangements can be negotiated. The candidate can work from anywhere globally as long as aligned with Singapore-time. Starting immediately until end-2017.
The essential things you’ll need for success in this role:
A successful track record in delivering high quality, user experiences through native app, browser-based mobile products, social media channels and marketing.
Hands-on experience at all stages of a mobile-first creative process, including a firm grasp of interaction and usability design, graphic design, digital product development and marketing.
Other things that we are looking for:
English proficiency with excellent skill in written and visual storytelling and communication.
An outstanding portfolio that showcases a solid foundation in typography, interaction and visual design, and idea generation.
Extensive experience partnering with founders and/or product managers to develop the strategy and rationale for product features.
A high level of productivity working in an agile, remote, start-up environment.
Mastery in using office software for cloud-based team collaboration; and the full suite of digital design tools for prototyping and producing creative assets for apps, websites, social media and marketing.
Honesty, maturity and professionalism enabling collaboration and negotiation with a diverse team that combines B-Change Group team members and external technical partners.
Self-discipline and ability to deliver high quality results with minimal supervision.
Curiosity and a passion for continual learning.
Familiarity with socio-political environment in Southeast Asia and other parts of the developing world is an advantage.
