Who are we?
B-Change Foundation is a regional organisation that provides care, support, and advocacy services for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, and Queer (LGBTIQ) community in South East Asia through the use of mobile apps, social media, and other technology-based approaches.
What are we looking for?
A Program Associate who can work with the team to:
a. create online resources such as articles, videos and infographics that educate and empower online users with information about LGBTIQ issues and local LGBTIQ resources;
b. work on collaborative projects with local and regional LGBTIQ organisations
How to qualify?
Anybody who is based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Manila or Jakarta is welcome to join our dynamic, multi-national and multidisciplinary team.
The candidate should be:
a. Highly proficient in written and spoken English and in either one of the following languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai or Simplified Chinese;
b. Proficient with office software, social media and internet publishing tools. Knowledge of HTML, Wordpress, digital graphics software or video editing software will be an advantage;
c. Strong in content creation, social media campaign management and small scale event management;
d. Able to work independently, comfortable with working from home and in flexible working hours arrangement;
e. Committed to to work with LGBTIQ individuals, allies, local and regional organisations;
f. Familiar with local LGBTIQ issues and resources.
g. Knowledge with HIV related information and information will be an advantage.
